Northern Ireland Internet Penetration

Millward Brown Ulster has been tracking Internet penetration and usage in the consumer market in Northern Ireland since August 1999. We have developed a detailed report which tracks usage of, and access to, the Internet amongst the Northern Ireland adult population. Expanded in February 2000, data are collected on a monthly basis via the Millward Brown Omnibus Survey. 1,000 adults (16+) are surveyed each month at 45 sampling points in Northern Ireland. Respondents are fully representative in terms of the Northern Ireland population in terms of sex, age and socio-economic status.
